Operating instructions


The operating instructions must take into account the requirements of the Machinery Directive.


The operating instructions shall contain all necessary information on how the machine/machine system can be brought into a basic position or restarted after a malfunction. Furthermore, it must be described how all functions available at the operating stations (which can be triggered via switching elements as well as via the visualisation) work and which mutual interlocks, if any, must be observed and displayed on the visualisation so that the operator is constantly guided and can understand the operation.
