The functions shall be described according to the SELMO method. The switch-on and switch-off conditions as well as the control and interlocking conditions must be clearly stated. The function plan must essentially contain Function sequence, mechanical characteristics, drive characteristics, characteristics of the auxiliary devices, a brief description of the control elements insofar as they are operated hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically.
Parts that are not part of the contractor's scope of delivery shall be indicated in the functional diagram. The information in the function plan shall be so complete that the electrical control system can be designed according to this description.
At the request of the Client, the functional plan shall be supplemented by a functional description.
